自身で作曲も作詞もこなすアメリカはSouth CarolinaのシンガーDominiqのアルバムです｡
このアルバムを作った時は弱冠21歳だったそうです｡
売り文句が"Soulful and smooth blend of R&B and hip hop. This gifted song writer and musician has been gifted with a voice that's like no other."とのことですが､これがなかなか良い雰囲気のアルバムだと思います｡ がもうちょっとブリブリなのがあっても良かったんじゃぁないかって感じもします｡

僕はウェッサイモノやGangsta Rapに滅法疎いのですが､FingazzのProd.でThe Gameが客演した"Sprung On A Thug"が巷では結構話題になっているらしいアメリカはLAのチカーナシンガーだそうです｡
声質は結構Popな可愛らしい声質ですが､大ネタ使いな曲ありスムースに聴けるレイドバックしたウェッサイな曲ありPopなバウンスチューンあり とこの"American Mija" 楽しいっす｡ 僕は有名どころしか存じ上げませんが､客演陣も強力な援護射撃もバッチリです｡
でなんとこのMixtape彼女のHomePageでタダで配ってます｡ なんて太っ腹!
Fingazzのトークボックスが絡む#11の"Nobody"はKeith Sweatの至福の濃厚カバーですよー たまらんです はい

男汁タップリ皿かと思いきやLoRIDer & the LG Experience製作のレイドバックしたトラックにナニョっとしたリードとコーラスがなんとも心地良いミッド曲｡ 12inchは結構ありますが､CD皿はなかなか珍しいんじゃないでしょうか｡ Gordon ChambersがBackground Vocalとアレンジに参加したカップリングの"Do You Right (The Sexx Way)"も非常に良いです｡
先行カットの"Freaky Freaky"も90年代中頃の空気感タップリの良作だと思います｡ こういったグループは好みです はい｡

Album Details
2008 release of their self titled debut album. Anthony, Jared, Jacob, Cheyenne and Grady make up the five Brutha Brothers, ranging in age from 19 to 25. This group signed to Island Def Jam/Goodfellas Entertainment drawing their inspiration from the Jackson 5, New Edition and Boyz II Men. The album was recorded in Atlanta and it includes the single 'I Can't Hear The Music' featuring Fabolous. Brutha has a reality show which premiered in November 2008 on BET called Brother to Brutha which shows the brothers' struggles to fulfill their musical dream without compromising their close family ties.

Manhattan Recordsと契約したんですねー｡ 向こうは相当厳しいんでしょうか｡

というわけで買ってまいりました｡
ジャケも激しくカワイイし! しかも光ってる!!! "Liberation"とは曲が全然違うんだねぇ｡ Motownとは完全に決別したそうです｡ "Liberation"はお蔵でしょうね｡
で1曲目｡ あー全然ついていけないかも｡｡｡ と思ったんですけど2曲目から超可愛いっす｡
#2･#3はクチコミ王子Stevie HoangのProd.! 月並みですが"Pillow"使いの#7が良いです｡
僕はMya嬢にはMadonna的なPOPさを求めてないんですね｡
basementmobさんが書いてて知ったんですけど713 SevilleのC-Moeがほとんどの曲を書いているみたいです｡
全然話変わりますけどCisco店じまいしてしまいましたね｡ CDなんて全く買わなかった僕も今ではすっかりレコード買わなくなってしまいましたもんね｡ ダンスミュージック業界もいきなりデジタル化しました｡ CiscoやBMR,Manhattan Recordsがなかったら､日本でこんなにHip Hop-R&Bが流行ってなかったんじゃないかなぁ｡ Manhattan Recordsにホント感謝です｡

『"Love Jones"とは"誰かを好きになった瞬間にこみ上げ､ その相手に恋い焦がれるあまりどうすることもできない気持ち"というスラングである｡ 鎮めようと思えば思うほど､より大きなしこりとなって胸に残ってしまう"Love Jones"』 ですって｡
僕は顔に似合わずこんな映画も観ます(笑) 当時は僕も２０代だったっすねー｡ 初デートにバイクでレゲエクラブ｡ いいですすねー｡ 僕はすごい面倒臭がり屋ですが､もっとオシャレに２０代を過ごせば良かったっすねー｡
こんな気持ちになることめっきりなくなってしまいましたね｡ 最近は街や電車でお姉ちゃんを視姦!!　←サイアクだー 男はいくつになっても女好きです｡
なんだかオシャレ系トレンディドラマみたいなストーリーでしたが､R&B musicってこういった部分が大事ですねー｡
でサントラですが､エンデイング曲のLauryn Hillの"The Sweetest Thing"で有名ですが､全体的に統一感がある気持ちのとてもいいサントラですね｡
Van HuntがProdで参加したDionne Farrisの名曲#2､Maxwellの官能的なmellowバージョンの#5､多分Amel LarrieuxのGroove Theoryでの最後の曲#6､当時Motownからのデビューアルバムがお蔵入りしたTrina BroussardのMinnie Ripertonカバー#7､Xscapeのお顔を思い浮かべて聴くと切なさ倍増のDramaticのカバー#8、僕はよくわからないですけど素晴らしいCassandra Wilsonの#9､ジャズベーシストのMarcus MillerとMe'shell Ndegeocelloの相性ばっちりな#10､My Favorite Slowの#12(他に曲あるんでしょうかねぇ)､いつもはそんなに興味ないけどこれはとてもいいKenny Lattimore+Touch Of Jazzの#13などなど(あーほとんど全部)
自分の甘酸っぱい気持ちをオサレに気取りたいって時にきっと重宝しますね｡ 聴いたことない人にはおすすめのCDです｡ はい

グランド・セフト・オートIV日本語版の発売日まで残すところ1ヶ月あまりとなってまいりました｡
欧米圏では売り上げが発売1週間で5億ドルを超えたそうです｡ そりゃスゲーや!
前作San Andreasもやりましたが､更に画像が超キレーですねぇ｡ もうこれは映画を超えてますね｡ さすが次世代機です!
僕が子供のころはファミコンでプレイヤーの想像力が頼りのドットの粗い画像で､その前に持ってたのは白黒の棒だけのテニスゲームでした｡ コントローラーはツマミくるくる回すだけの｡
もうテレビゲームに想像力は全くいらない時代ですね｡
