今で言ったらBCの居たグループってことになるんですが､当時はヴォーカルグループブーム真っ只中で､はっきり言って相当イマイチなグループって位置づけでした｡
なんせ当時はHip Hop小僧でしたしこういったグループって退屈だったんですねー｡ 12inchしか買ってなかったし｡ でも改めてこのアルバム今聴いてみると完璧なハーモニーっすね｡
IV Xampleは別々のグループで歌っていたLucius, Ahemus Chevis aka B.C., Andre Allen, Raymond Chevis aka Runni Raeの4人が集まって出来たグループで､"The Swang"のデモテープが地元LAでプチヒットしてMCAと契約したそうです｡ Boyz II Menの二番煎じを狙ったMCAの企画グループだと思っていたんですが､そうではないんですね｡
このアルバムといえばDamon Thomasの初期の傑作"So Low"ですが､ 他にも”Marc Nelson & kyle West Prod.の"She's Always On My Mind" とかGenとかいう人のProd.の爽快Mid"I Can Make It Up To You"､Chris Stokes Prod.の濃厚Slow"I Found a Love"等々｡ あれだけ無視していたシングルカット"I'd Rather Be Alone"もイイ曲ですね｡
イイアルバムだと思いました｡
